Ranks and Promotions

Hey everyone!

Just thought I'd clearly list the official requirements for each rank, and what you can do to be promoted.

Initiate: Level 1-19
Rookie: Level 20-49
Member: Level 50-99
Veteran: Level 100-149
Officer: Level 150-253
Grand General: Level 254
Guild Master: Caesaris

Of course, there are always exceptions. In celebration for reaching 500 members a couple weeks ago, I created the rank of Initiate, and in so doing, promoted everyone in the guild. This means there are some Rookies at level 1, Members at level 20, etc. There are also many other ways to be promoted:

Donate gold to the guild vault. Each rank is an added 10K gold from the price of being promoted to the previous rank. To be clear, the costs to move up are calculated by adding the promotion cost of all ranks between your current rank and the rank you are paying to receive. The rank costs are as follows:

Initiate: 0K gold
Rookie: 10K gold
Member: 20K gold
Veteran: 30K gold
Officer: 40K gold
Grand General: 50K gold
Guild Master: priceless

Again, you have to add all the costs of the ranks leading up to the rank you want. For example, moving from Initiate to Veteran costs 60K gold, and moving from Member to Grand General costs 140K gold. Given the extreme gold drop of beasts in the leveling areas, these are very reasonable prices for promotions.

Another way to be promoted is to follow this blog, and comment on this post with your character name. We will eventually have an online guild registration for extra bonuses.

A final way to be promoted is to help me out in the game. This may be by joining a raid group when others won't or resurrecting me if I lose my corpse. I am very generous when treated kindly.
